New Dev4Press is now online
Few hours ago, new Dev4Press website has gone live. Fully redesigned and oriented to premium content that includes plugins (and soon themes) and premium support. So, read this to find out more on what new website will offer and help you in improving your WordPress blogs.
New plugin: GD Affiliate Center
GD Affiliate Center is the new premium plugin for WordPress that will be available on the new Dev4Press website next week. I have set demo website that will showcase plugins features, and will be used to announce upcoming changes and improvements.
Book: Digging Into WordPress
Few days ago, a new WordPress book has been released. Book is written by Chris Coyier and Jeff Starr and is available in PDF format, but the print version is expected soon. I have written book review, and you can win the free copy at Dev4Press website.
GD Star Rating 1.7.2
Unfortunately, 1.7.1 was released with several bugs, and two of them were major caused by some changes I added just before releasing the plugin. So, I spend most of the day testing and fixing bugs, and here is the new version with many fixes.
GD Star Rating 1.7.0
GD Star Rating 1.7.0 is now released. It has several new features, many fixes and updates from the previous 1.6.9. Most important changes include full cache plugins support, removed support for WP 2.6 and added many more filters and actions.
New plugin: GD Taxonomies Tools
My new plugin for WordPress is intended to be used to expand on custom taxonomies features that have great potential, but are not much supported in current version of WordPress. Plugin is under a lot of development and is far from completed.
GD Star Rating 1.5.8
For the past two weeks I have been caught up with a lot of work, and I didn’t had much time for GD Star Rating. This is another minor release, since I haven’t completed all that I wanted for 1.6.0. Still, this version is well worth the upgrade.
No comments reordering
To summarize the post, there will be no comments reordering using ratings in GD Star Rating. For now. Problem is not that I don’t want to make it, but that it cannot be done at the moment the way I would like it to be done. Here’s why.
