I was busy over the weekend with GDSR 2.0, and with database model, I have worked on the new interface. Work on that is far from finished, but look and feel of it is created and all panels will be created using the same unified design. Here are some screenshots.
Due to many other projects, and most importantly, new xScape theme framework, work on GDSR 2.0 is slower than I would have liked to. But, things are progressing, and keep reading if you are interested in the current status of major revision of GD Star Rating.
I am sorry for the bug that managed to sneak into the code in the previous version. Bug only affected those that tried to install plugin for the first time. Problem was with installing default templates, so the rendering failed without them.
The number of websites using GD Star Rating is growing everyday and not all of them are using default templates, or star sets or visual concepts. So, I would like to include some of the websites here, on the new Showcase page I have set.
Another day, another release. I didn’t plan to release new version so soon, but 1.2.1 had some bugs that couldn’t wait, and also some of the files were missing and comments widget was not working. Plus, few new things are added.
Finally, new templates system that will be used for all GD Star Rating renderings is ready. At this point not all rendering is done using T2, but it will be soon, because it requires a lot of testing and tweaking. At this point standard rating for posts and comments are converted.
Finally, new version of the GD Star Rating. Previous version had a bug that made a lot of problems to all who used multi ratings feature. Now this problem should be fixed, and multi ratings should be working fine now.
