Plazaa.de is one of the best GD Star Rating integration jobs I have seen. It uses customized star set that looks really nice, several different uses for the rating blocks: on the front page, with individual posts, comments and so on. Website is made by Alexander Kaiser, and I was involved in some elements of integration.

Front Page

Front page looks amazing, with ratings discreetly added to each post. Individual post uses comment integrated ratings, with each comment showing rating, and post showing average on top, as on the two next images.
