This is a great plugin, just a quick question ………… is there a way i can put the star rating underneath a chosen sentence by way of a “shortcode”?

eg below for a single post with multiple paragraphs or sentences

It’s a powerful plugin.
I want to know about one thing:
Can we query about the users who have voted on posts. List display the list of users who have voted 5 stars on this category of posts?

Thanks for this. I found a small bug while moving over from wp-postratings. In options/install.php, the import table name is hardcoded to “wp_post_ratings” , but it needs to be wp_ratings. The import class handles it properly, so it’s really just the substitution of the three occurrences here.

Awesome plugin! Very easy to use and works well!

I was wondering…is there a way to display a specific rating for a page within another page? For example I am selling products and each product has it’s own page with detailed descriptions and it’s own rating. I want to be able to list these products with just their name (with link to the page) and that specific product’s rating within another page. Is there a shortcode to do this? Or some way to recall a specific rating’s “id number” and display it elsewhere? Thanks so much!

Great plugin!

I’m wonder why (after pressing a star) the animation + text is still visible and it’s not refreshing. (but after refreshing the page the status is updated)

Is there a way to show multiple single star reviews from different post, on one page ?

Currently when i place several single rating blocks on one page, when I vote in one block they all change to the new rating instead of being individual blocks…

Hello,

I am using GD Star Rating. Thank you for the amazing plugin.

While I am trying to update it to the latest version, the update fails as it keeps on loading and loading and loading, but the plugin never gets updated. It takes our blog down for sometime but then it comes back again but the plugin update keeps on loading.

I am using WordPress 3.1. can you please guide ?

Hello MillaN,
I experience some strange problem with Comment Rating Widget. When “Number Of Comments” field is set with value less than comments number in post, sorting the comments is wrong. It’s no matter which “Sorting Column” parameter is set. It looks like comments are randomly selected to be shown in widget, but for comment that already displayed the ordering works right (only for them). Said by other words comments that are shown in widget are ordered right, but other (hidden) comments somehow doesn’t includes in sorting.

The sorting and ordering algorithm works fine with comments number less than “Number Of Comments” parameter. In same time Star Ratin Widget works just fine.

There is an entry in the W3TC FAQ on how to handle GD Star Rating to avoid caching problems.

I think it’s a caching thing. I just deactivated/reactivated W3 Total Cache and it’s OK now.

Hmmm. I’ve got those errors too since the upgrade. I think I was on 1.9.9 before and it was OK
