GD Star Rating 1.9.4 is minor maintenance release fixing few reported problems. Hindu translation is added, new icons designed for next major 2.0 release. Bugs with some custom functions, including of JS and CSS files and few other things are fixed.
I sure hope that GDSR 2.0 work will resume soon, I simply don’t have much free time. But, as far as GDSR 1.9.x versions, I will release them if bugs need fixing, no new features will be added.

I have a problem with 1.9.4 . When GD Star is activated my widgets freeze up, meaning I can not arrange or rearrange my widgets.

That was the problem with 1.9.3, it’s fixed in 1.9.4. Clear the browser cache to remove cached JS files and it should be fine. If not, which version of WP are you using?

I’m using WP version 3.0.1 and I just downloaded 1.94 and it’s happening to i.e. widgets frozen on widgets page and on menu page. Unable to move them around.

I have a question, I have setup a multi poll that is set to show for all posts in a category. Only users are allowed to vote, everything seems to work correctly except that immediately after voting the rating result is set to 0 and I have to refresh the page to see the results of my vote. I must be missing something but don’t know where the setting for this is.

I’m having the same problem as Monty. When GD Star is activated my widgets freeze up. I was running 1.9.3 and have now updated to 1.9.4. Have cleared browser cache and it is still doing the same. I am running wordpress 3.0.

Hi Millan,
The plugin works great in Firefox 3 but it will not display in IE 8. I have loaded this website page from your website and still get the same problem

So I know this is not a configuration error with my wordpress setup nor is it a template problem. It simply will not load in IE 8. I even tried to use “Compatibility Mode” and still the stars will never fully load. Can you please help me to understand why this will not work on ANY pages that have stars plugin installed?

Hi, I’ve been using this plugin for a while, and I’ve wanted to make a new site which can have the front page display “hot” posts digg fashion. What this requires is an alogorithm to sort posts by date with some kind of time decay of rating value. I’m wondering if something is possible (even simple), superior to what I’m planning which is top rated posts from the last X days (with +thumb only enabled). Thanks, great work.

there should be a feature below rating stars…to allow user click “don’t know” or “i have no idea”
i allow user to list all posts he didn’t commented and voted for. but when he has no idea about the movie (post title)…he has to click any vote what makes rating invaluable. so a feature that would make voting for “5″ a neutral or “no idea” vote which will not be counted is quite important.hope you know what i mean.

Im also seeing on the website “GD Star rating loading…” but no images appear to be loading? has this issue been fixed?

Hi MilLaN,
is it possible to use function “wp_gdsr_render_rating_results” so it shows only posts from one or more authors. I eas thinking something like this:
wp_gdsr_render_rating_results(array(‘template_id’ => 46, ‘rows’ => 5, ‘min_votes’ => 10, ‘category’ => 15, ‘author_id’ => 1 ));
