GD Star Rating is no longer on the BlueHost hosting. Yesterday I have moved the website to much faster and powerful VPS server hosted by VPS.NET. This will improve both initial response and loading time and general availability of the website.
Also, GDSR is now working on WordPress 3.0 (RC1-15084). It will be updated to final as soon as the WP 3.0 is released. Taking into account new server and new WordPress, website now works much faster. Response is now 30% faster, and website loads almost 2 times faster than before.

Good move Milan. The guys at VPS.NET are super helpful and their service is great. I’ve been with them a couple of months and I’m very glad I made the switch.

VPS.NET is really great hosting but requires good knowledge of Linux. I am still tweaking the server settings and I caused some downtime last two days experimenting with apache settings.

Their forums are really good and there’s a couple of guys that almost always answer with help and advice really quickly. I think they try and be the first to respond. But it that fails, there’s always support, and they are excellent and have never (touch wood) let me down.

i suggest a feature: one user can vote 100 times for his favourite movie so there will be 100 votes and rating 10. how about making it 1 vote with rating 10? another example: one day i submit rating 3 for a footbal team. but next time during another game i would like to rate 9. so there should be 1 vote with average: 6

Thank you for the plugin. You have truly done a great job. As a developer my self, I can imagine how many hours you have spent.
Have you had a look at slicehost.com or rackspace’s cloud services? The latetr are really cheap and provide superb service.
