It was almost a month since previous update, and almost no new problems reported. Few bugs reported (and confirmed) are now fixed. Also few more things are improved and changed, while I was working in integrating plugin in my upcoming theme framework.
There were some problems with CSS validation, due to the use of opacity for some elements and invalid format of MIME type sent by the plugin. So, now you can enable or disable opacity using option in the settings panel, and type is fixed. If you disable opacity, file is 100% CSS 2.1 valid.
Few functions used internally are re-factored and cleaned up, renamed to fit better into new naming convention that will be completed with GD Star Rating 2.0.

Thanks a lot for great plugin!
In “Optimization Guide #1″ you’ve sated that you’ll describe why script.js.php cannot be cached in next optimization guide. But there is no description in “Optimization Guide #2″. It takes almost 600ms to load this file, it’s a half of all page loading time. Could you please describe why it cannot be cached and is there any way to speed up its loading?
Thank you in advance.

When I post a New post, or when i try to mail myself a test email using Subcribe2.

hi,
is it possible (on future release) to include user rating system?
for example there is a user that submit comments. If we can add the ratings of those comments we can calculate the user rating.
do you found this idea good?
thanks

Hey,
I’d like to know if there is a way to add multiple rating blocks to one post(for different items in the same post). Also, is it possible to sort the posts by average rating?
BWT, this is my favorite plugin for wordpress! Keep up the great work.
Thanks

Thanks for the plugin! Just one question:
in the comments rating widget, is it possible to show most thumb rated comments instead of the star comments? I looked in the settings but couldn’t find it.

Hi,
is it possible, in multi ratings, to lock the first rating for visitors, so only the admin can vote there. If not, is there a workaround?
thank you

Can’t be done. And I don’t understand what you are trying to achieve with something like that.

I’d like to be able to get just the static rating stars and display them per each post on the homepage template. If you’re on the homepage you can see the current rating but can’t vote. If you’re looking at the actual post, you can vote. (This may make more sense if you look at the actual site).

I see some bug for IE 7 users.
after user clicks on ‘voting’ button all links rewrote by your javascript (I suppose `if browser.isie` condition)
try to vote here using IE7 (or IE7 compatible mode)
http://www.kurer-sreda.ru/2010/02/22/21659
page will be broken and all links display:none
it also was rewrrote by ‘div class=gsstarrating’ but it is not rewritting now afer I played on plugin admin side
Thanks for your help
