WPMU & GD Star Rating 2.0
Work on GD Star Rating 2.0 has already begun, and I have already made some very interesting changes. But since most of the plugins code will be rewritten, there is one very important new element to consider: full support for WPMU and BuddyPress.
GD Star Rating 1.7.9
This is most likely last release of GD Star Rating in 2009. Next, 1.8.0 will be released in the first days of 2010. This time, there are only few changes in 1.7.9, more will come in 1.8.0. Also, work has started on the major release of GD Star Rating 2.0.0.
Road to GD Star Rating 2.0
GD Star Rating 1.8.0 will be released on january 3 2010. And that will be the end of the features cycle for 1.x versions. But, few days ago I have started working (planning mostly) the roadmap to next major version of the plugin: GD Star Rating 2.0.
Why Premium Support?
There a hundreds and even thousands plugins for WordPress available for free, and that’s one of the truly great things about WordPress. But, only a fraction of that number is actually supported by the authors. And there is a good reason why is that.

GD Star Rating 1.7.8
It’s been some time before the last update, and I was very busy with different projects. So, here is 1.7.8, and this will be the last release in 1.7 branch (if no critical bugs are found), and next release will be 1.8.0 just before the end of this year.
New plugin: GD Affiliate Center
GD Affiliate Center is the new premium plugin for WordPress that will be available on the new Dev4Press website next week. I have set demo website that will showcase plugins features, and will be used to announce upcoming changes and improvements.
