With just a day or two away from release of 1.3.0, I have decided to make public a list of features that will be in development after that. All the features here will span next 2 months. This list is not definitive and it might change over time. I am not sure on exact order of features, because some of the features are depending on some other changes.
So, without further delay here is the list of planned features:
- Full multi set based votes restrictions support based on sets, categories and posts. [moved to 1.6/1.7]
- Completed category based rules and restrictions. [1.4.6 - 1.5.0]
- Integration of standard and multi ratings into comments to allow only ratings to be added with comments. [1.3.2 / 1.3.3 / 1.4.0]
- New rating CSS that will allow more than one set to be used for ratings on a single page. [1.3.2]
- Multi sets to allow different stars sets for each multi rating element. [moved to 1.6/1.7]
- New, more standardized stars set sizes: 16px, 24px. [1.3.1]
- Customization of BOT detection filter (finally). [1.3.3]
- Expanded custom functions and more custom filters actions. [1.3.3]
So, there it is, features planned for now. Once this is finished, plugin should reach 1.5.0. There is one more feature that I plan to work on, but I can’t promise that I will have time for. That’s recommendation (or up/down) ratings. This will be added, if not by 1.5.0, it’s the first thing to follow after.

i’m especially waiting for the function to display read only Overall as star based on multi rating and display multiratings in comments but with generating post Overall rating upon that votes from comments.would be great!

I don’t know if you’re planning on doing this but a SEARCH feature would be good. Not sure if it’s already present and I missed it somehow.
But yes, I agree with the guys above. Allowing the user to rate a post in his comment will be a top feature!

By search feature I mean the ability for visitors to search for items and filter the results based on their ratings.
Example 1:
On a movie review site the user would have the possibility to search for “ALL movies” with a rating superior to 7/10.
Example 2:
One a movie review site the user could filter the search results even more and search for “HORROR movies” with a rating superior to 7/10. [Horror being a category or subcategory]
Do you see what I mean?

It would be great also to be able as a voter to leave a small comment on a multi-rating (it seems there is a field in the db but it’s not used?). This will allow people to comment on their vote.

That’s not going to happen. WordPress has own comments system, and it will be possible to integarte multi ratings will the comments in one of the next versions.

My question is something which probably you have answered a couple of times but just wish to conform if my understanding is right
- multi review in comments shifted to 1.3.2
I don’t know if its in your plan but is something like wpreviewsite possible using GDStar i.e. I give a review in my post and user comment on that with their own review AND in my post the review block automatically reflects that. (i.e. a average of my ratings & user ratings or my rating in block with avg of user ratings in another block).
