Will this release allow for inserting multi ratings into the comment section? This would allow a comment/verbal review to be paired with a star review. I dident see that mentioned but maybe that is part of T2 templates.

Yes, this will be category based (per many requests) or for all posts similar to standard rating/ Category based insertion is almost done, and it wmight be included in 1.2.0.

This is fantastic Milan, I love this plugin its incredibale.

Any plans to have the ‘Top 10 rated comments’ from any individual post included in the futute 1.2… versions?

Or even having an extra option in the wp_gdsr_render_widget(); for selecting comments?

    Best Regards

    Tim

This would be such a great implementation and added feature to your rating plugin… For eg, some youtube videos have hundreds of comments, id love to order them in terms of usefullness or feature best comments) etc.

Or for eg, reviewing books, if 1 post = a book and people left comments in the form of reviews, then people could rate how good or usefull the reviews were and then see the top 10 most useful reviews(comments) for that item.

At this point, doing anything with comments it’s not that easy. Also, many changes introduced to WordPress makes that harder, and comments will still going to change. Problem is that I just can’t maintain different code for each WordPress version, and I need to work on features that I know I can complete. At some point there will be reordering of comments but I am not sure when that’s gonna happen.

If they add support for overriding the restrictions in jQuery I will use it, but I don’t plan to write anything for that. It’s too complicated and it’s not allowed for a reason.
