I am currently working on next GD Star Rating version, and it’s going slow at the moment because I have very little free time right now. But, the new version is coming most likely in the next week at the most. I have made some changes, and fixed few things already, but the biggest problem right now is in the debugging stages. And the problem is multi ratings.
There were few problems reported that plugin is not saving multi rating correctly into the database. This can be caused by invalid database tables layout. And this can be caused by some upgrade problems with some of the previous versions. Since I am unable to track what that was exactly, and no one can tell me what the problem was in each of the cases I can’t offer a specific solution. I will go through all the multi code, and will check everything to see that the code is OK. But you need to check the database on your end.
If you can’t access phpMyAdmin or similar mySQL tool on your servers, you can install my GD Press Tools plugin. This plugin has Database tool build that you can use to review (or even delete) database tables. With this tool you can see list of tables, and with +/- icon in front of the table name you can see the structure. All multi ratings tables have word ‘multi’ in the name. Compare this with tables layout from Google Code page. If the tables don’t match, and you have multi ratings problems, you can delete table that don’t match. Using Database tool from GD Star Rating you can upgrade the database, and plugin will recreate missing tables.
I will try to solve all the multi ratings problem for next version. Also, I am working on upgraded multi review code and T2 templates system.
