I was working on forum yesterday, adding some new features, removing spam messages and spam users, and during all that I accidentally deleted anonymous user account. And without it PHPBB3 doesn’t work. Since I am always logged in, I didn’t noticed that the forum is not working. Big thanks goes to Sascha for reporting the problem.
I check for new posts on the forum regularly, and usually there are new posts every few hours, and I was starting to wonder why no one posted anything the whole day. And there you have it, forum was down. In any case, since I am talking about it, here is what is new on the forum yesterday:
- Anti SPAM filters for user registration and for topics
- Navigation bar on the top
- Few more behind the scenes changes
- Cleanup of SPAM users and SPAM bots
Also, I will get to cleaning and locking old topics tomorrow. If you have suggestions on improving the forum, please leave the comment.
