GD Blog Rating Widget Controls

GD Blog Rating is much simpler plugin that can be used to display average rating for all blog posts. You can see this widget in action in the sidebar on this website. Widget controls is organized much like GD Star Rating widget. Also, plugin support multiple instances.

1. Main Options

Give widget a title and select how will be able to see it, like for the GD Star Rating widget.

2. Filter

Filter is not complex,  only few things to set here. Select type of articles to include: post and/or pages. And select votes to count from: everybody, only user or only visitor votes.

3. Template

This widget is rendered with a single template. You can see the list of tags this widget supports. Default template uses classes defined in the main CSS file loaded by the plugin. You can use your own classes from theme CSS file or from additional rating.css file.

And that’s all, widget is very simple, and will work out of the box as soon as you add it to the sidebar.
